Comparative histomorphological assessment of the testes of two Clarias species from the Okavango Delta, Botswana
Abstract
The testes of two Clarias species from the Okavango Delta were assessed because of their colour differences. Three histological stains were used to enhance the cellular detail in the testes. The lobules and different cell types were detected and described and used for the determination of sexual maturity.
